Advertising: You are not allowed to share links unless it is for a Chobots blog. If you are sharing your Chobots blog URL, you cannot say your link more than twice in a row. Saying it more than two times in a row will be considered to be spamming and is not allowed. Also, please try to say your blog without having the screen filled up by your advertisement.

Bad Language: Bad language is not allowed. It you wouldn't say it in front of your Mom, Dad or teacher then you shouldn't say it on Chobots. If you are caught saying bad words you will have your chat disabled for 5-15 minutes or may be kicked out. Using bad language can also lead to a ban, so don't do it. Please be respectful of other Chobots and use kind words with talking to one another.

Charities: We think it’s great that you are trying to help out each other on Chobots, but if you're going to give out gifts please do not ask for donations. Please do not feel like you have to give gifts - no one can be 'poor' on Chobots since everyone can work hard and earn money.

Begging: Please don’t beg/ask for clothes. If you have a glitch on your account that is causing you not to be able to earn money please email support@chobots.com, or send an admin message so it can be fixed. Otherwise, work hard to earn money because it is annoying to have to deal with a lot of messages a day asking for clothing. If you are caught begging you may be kicked out or have your chat disabled for 5-15 minutes.

No Dating: Chobots is not meant for online dating, so please do it somewhere else.

Scamming: Of course, scamming is not allowed. An example of scamming is when someone says "if you give me a smiley shirt, I will give you my shoes" even though the player has no intentions of giving away a pair shoes. The other player says yes and gives away their smiley shirt but never gets the pair of shoes in return. Scamming is also saying something like "the first person to give me a gift will get a gift" because that is just tricking people into thinking they are first. Scamming can lead to a ban, so please don't do this.

Asking to be an Agent / Moderator: Please DO NOT ask to be an Agent or Moderator because it will lower your chances of becoming one. Do you want to know how to become an Agent? Then read the official Chobots blog to find out how. If you follow the requirements, we will see it and you will become an agent.

How to become an agent

A LOT of people have been asking me lately. The usual people tell you is help, be nice, give tours, etc. Well I decided to post the REAL way to be an agent!

1. Try to help the agents and the moderators
Yes, I know you hear this a lot but it's true! Helping people is the 1st thing you should do.
Helping Agents
You can help agents by helping them patrol the chobot cities. You can go to cafe street and look out for bad chobots. If you do see one, report it to the agent you are helping. If you help them a lot they will recomend you!
Helping Mods
Helping Mods is sometimes very hard because they always have a huge crowd around them. But this way is pretty easy! Look out for bad chobots at cafe street. When you see one take a picture of them. Get at least about 5 pictures and send them to the mods at support@chobots.com. I did that for about a month and I became agent!

2. Be nice
Obviously, No one is going to make you an agent if you are rude or mean! You have to be kind to people no matter what! Even if they be mean to you, you have to try to state your opinions politely. Be nice to agents, mods, and ofcourse citizens and juniors! Have a good reputation, and you are one step closer to being an agent!

3. Don't be annoying!
Being an annoying chobot, just makes you lost your chances of becoming an agent.
Examples of annoying chobot:

-Asking/Spamming for rain at parties
-Asking to be an agent
-Spamming people
-Ignoring people
-Being rude to moderators/agents
-Sending spam mail

4.Be cool 8D
Some people go around spamming cafe street saying 'WHO NEEDS HELP?'. That is not very cool and shows that you are desperate. If people needed help, they would just say so. Don't be annoying around agents. For example, saying 'Can you recommend me?','Plz invite me to agent HQ',and 'Can you add me plzzz' Will annoy the agents. But if you just lay back and start a normal conversation with them, most likely they will like you and add you.

5. Get Known
You need chobots to know who you are! You can do this by:

-making a blog and have people view it
-being nice to people and have them add you
-participate in contests on blog.chobots.com
-go on often
-chat with people often
-make a chobots youtube channel and make video
-draw art in the underground and have people see it

If chobots don't know who you are, you might not get picked on the agent poll. Get known around and make a good reputation :)
